Notes and cautions when using Exchange 2010 or 2013 store backup via VSS (version 4.2.2 and higher):
- The 'Enable Volume Shadow Copy' setting will be ignored as taking backup of Exchange 2010/2013 will alway require VSS
- It is better to check it off in case the backup task is only backing up Exchange 2010/2013 mailstores
- In case of problems please check the Windows Event Viewer for logs with source 'VSS'.
